I guess a pic of me with a deer with blood coming out of its mouth is where you draw the line...then it is alright! Fools..you take sides & give some you will lose it all..trapping..fishing..then the almighty deer hunters will be next...gun rights & animal activist...you are against them or for them...you are the problem with our sport...I have heard this kinda talk before from animal activist & a neighbor yrs ago that left his family & is now openly out of the closet..they have their rights too I guess..
Im still catchin them but will be pulling most & coon hunting with dogs next week...another thing you can judge me by....find something cruel & pitch about the pics of those too..LOL..some men you just cant reach...they will ruin it all for you till they ruin it for themselves and it hits home, then go duh why are they taking my rights away...1 for all & all for 1 or we will all fall together...we will have those that stab us in the backs among us that call them selves sporstmen to thank...a no brainer...

I guess every neighborhood has it's rougher edges....just as long as we all are neighbors.
Some of the sportsmen I respect the most are the "gentlemen" of the hunt-people who are able to command respect just by their actions. People who will gain the respect of the fence sitters because of their actions.

Nothing wrong with what you are doing. If you get enjoyment from posing behind a living animal caught in a trap, that is your business. It's not illegal. I just find those images difficult to look at. In the future, I will remember not to check out your trapping pictures. Like they say, if you don't like what's on tv, change the channel. Again, Congrats on a very successful trapping season. Good luck with the coons too.

I enjoy looking at successful hunters and trappers pics. However, if I spine shot a deer, I wouldn't pose behind him thrashing around before I finished him off. That's all I am saying.

there's no blood n guts in these photos .... as you can plainly see non of these animals are suffering ... they are laying their as calm as your dog on a lead . Couple are even lookin more than willing to put up a good fight . We really need the anti sportsmen photo censors on a site like this .... if you aren't for ALL sportsmen you are against all sportsmen .

.... as you can plainly see non of these animals are suffering ... they are laying their as calm as your dog on a lead . I will not even justify this statement with a comment. I will just let it sit there and sink in some more. We really need the anti sportsmen photo censors on a site like this .... if you aren't for ALL sportsmen you are against all sportsmen . If the photos would have had blood and guts, I wouldn't have had an issue with them, because the 'yotes would have been dead. Quick, humane kills are the responsibility of any sportsman. I will leave it at that.

EDIT OF PERSONAL ATTACK

Trapping is a legal and noble outdoor undertaking. Hopefully it will stay that way forever.
This IS the Trapping Forum. If trapping and/or showing of the animals caught upsets any member then I suggest that those members do not open the Trapping Forum.
I see this as no different than a fisherman holding up a live large mouth bass that he is going to take home a eat, except the animals trapped have hair.
One more thing - I do HIGHLY suggest that we dispense with personal shots at each other.

I believe I will steer clear, Woody. I have been called "ignorant", an "anti", "less wise", less experienced", "a fool", and my service to youth has been called into question. I ask that you look back and find anywhere that I leveled a single personal insult. By the way, as for my service to youth, I have been a teacher for 10 years. I have been a volunteer youth worker at my church for 11 years. I give a great deal of my time and energy to serving youth. I seem to have touched a nerve by questioning the photos like I did. Obviously, I am ignorant about the trapping culture. From my brief contact with it here, I think I'll just stay that way.
