Actually, if it stays cool like it is, they won't be bad at all. Was just over by the river doing some scouting Monday and didn't have any bugging me!

Actually I was down along the East Fork of the White River for "critter" hunt last Friday/Sat. I slept in my truck cab with the windows down Fri night within site of the river along the treeline and never had the first bug bother me...but it's been pretty dry down there for a number of weeks. I had my Thermocell with me and never even started it up which I was really surprised at. Bet if I hadn't of taken it though.....

Actually, if it stays cool like it is, they won't be bad at all. Was just over by the river doing some scouting Monday and didn't have any bugging me! Had my son with me over the weekend doing some scouting on the south tract of Timex's property, he has soo many skeeter bites that he's taking some sort of steriod pack to help with the itching and to clear it up. And i was certain that he was covered with skeeter dope, they must have liked it!! lol

Use 100% deet and watch your wind. Imo, the youth hunt is too early in the year.

We were only a 1/2 mile or so from each other.
