What are you looking @ that points you to that conclusion? The link and info Woody posted a few post up... Look at the graph! Based on the dates you provided, I averaged out those seasons and came up with roughly 106,000 deer per year harvested. Based on recent harvest trends, I don't see us dropping that much without a major disease outbreak and/or a huge change in the regs, but I guess time will tell.... |

Hmmm.. Looks like a correction has been made. They were having problems originally with Google Chrome users being counted twice on input, but I thought that they had worked that out. Maybe not? Current reported deer harvest:
124,642
As of Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 11:40 AM CST.
A 562 count difference...

Thanks for the updates Woody. Was going to try one last time on some DRZ property with my grandson this weekend. A friend reported that it is dead. Guess we will be watching college basketball and sighting in some turkey guns. Not a bad day
