There was a thread on traperman with pictures of a black bobcat caught while traping. I could not figure out how to get it posted here. But it was a gorgeous looking animal. If any one knows of this animal please post pictures if you can here for all to see. It was stated that the pictures were on face book and other social media forms.
Thanks

Now we know the truth about all them "black panthers" people are always say they are seeing LOL. That has to be extremely rare bobcat. Never seen anything like that in my life, now black coyotes I have caught some that were very blackish, but not a full out color black.

I'd be hesitant to post any hunting picture likely to be shared widely. There was a photo going around of a polar grizzly hybrid an Inuit hunter had killed not too long ago. Now, this is subsistence hunting by an indigenous hunter and the guy got death threats.
Honestly, I could give a crap less about that aspect. Most people are only tough behind a keyboard and I'm no punk if I do say so myself. However, your job will only put up with so many harassing calls and problems before they decide it's more trouble than you're worth.

That would help, but still no guarantee. People can screenshot things from forums and wherever else and post them.

I have not seen one but my best friend has seen a black coyote a couple times by his house. He traps and is positive it is a coyote. He also has a black squirrel by his house as well. They are not uncommon in coyotesome as several are caught each year as shown on trapperman.com
