I’ll have the .350 legend for the kids mostly, but I’ll tote it around too at times especially for my park hunts. 30-06 for me the majority of the time and then the .50 caliber cva muzzleloader for muzzy season if necessary.

45 cal Savage Smokeless (if needed) during ML season. I may just stick to a .308 BUT if given the opportunity I will be using the 7mm Allen Magnum. I haven't shot a deer with it yet. Only 2 places that it could be used though.

We have shot several deer with a 243, No blood trail on any of the 3, but we’re fortunate to watch them go down. We/me have also used a 270, either went down or good blood trail. Kids are old enough now that the 243 will stay home.

I mainly use a .308. Occasionally, I will use an 870 12 gauge with an I/C slug barrel.

Got a couple great groups right off the bat. Ran inside and loaded a couple more to make sure they repeated. Then loaded up the rest of the brass I had ready. Fired off a couple groups over the next 2 hours. Stick a fork in it, its DONE! Just gonna verify at a little longer ranges, then zero, and put away.

Got about 1/4 cord split and the back of the hydraulic cylinder on the splitter sprung a leak where the cap was welded on. So I drug out the 7mm AM. Just shot it a couple times, I have to do some scope adjusting as I had absolutely no idea where it'd hit at 100 yds. (I always zero it at 300 yds). It was 2" high and 2" right. I shot it first, and the guy that owned the bobcat just about jumped out of his skin at the muzzle blast (he was standing right where it was the worst LOL) I asked him if he wanted to shoot it and he gingerly said yes. He yanked the trigger thinking it was going to kick him off of the shooting seat. He was amazed at the little bit of recoil that was there. His 2nd shot was much closer to the center of the target. I figure 5 more shots and it will be ready for any distance.
I showed him the Ruger Mark IV 22/45 lite with the can, letting him shoot it and he's in love. LOL I tried the can on the 17 HMR and it made a heck of a difference in the noise too.
