Well....wonder how the Hoosiers will fare today. I see Dolson pulled the plug on Tom Allen today. Seemed like a good guy, a little too rah, rah for me (reminded me of Crean). Hopefully they'll get a good one. Not sure if they will pony up the $$ since Allen had a $20 million buyout. Allen apparently agreed to a buyout of $15.5 million. Between Archie Miller's $10 million and Allen's $15.5 that's $25.5 million IU has had to pony up in the last few years. Perhaps it's time to take a hard look @ the athletic director and decide if he is worth keeping... This whole thing is a joke. That is a sweet deal for lack luster results

Far from being anywhere close to an expert on these contracts.....but just don't understand why universities agree to these deals. Jimbo Fisher's buyout was $77 million. WTH? I did see an interview with A&M's AD saying the next contracts would probably be more incentive based. Just crazy money.

Mallory was by far the most successful coach IU has had and that idiot Myles Brand ran him off. The next several coaches until Allen NEVER had a single winning season. I guess I'm not smart enough to understand the prestige and value of some programs. Texas A&M just paid Jimbo $70+ million to go away and is, reportedly, ready to offer the richest contract in college coaching history to the next guy. They haven't won a national title in football since 1939.

If a football coach @ IU could win 6 games a year and beat Purdue every other year that coach would likely be looked upon as a coaching legend by many IU fans.

Definitely a much better 2nd half. During the next few games IMO, it will be a must to be able to hit the outside shots as the other teams will probably pack it inside defensivley. Hope Reneau's back isn't serious.
It will be interesting to see who is mentioned as a possible coach.
From WDRB artilce - Some of the early names mentioned for the IU job are Toledo coach Jason Candle; South Alabama coach Kane Wommack (a former IU defensive coordinator); former Northwestern coach Pat Fitzgerald; Willie Fritz of Tulane and Florida International coach Tom Herman, who was fired by Texas.

A HUGE majority of IU's points were "in the paint". They NEED some outside shooters to step up.

Good to see the freshman start producing. Gots to get his confidence going. I think he will be critical. As well as health of the team.

It would help if they actually knew where the three point line is. Think 2 or 3 shots were called threes then later called back to twos because their foot was on the line. Inexcusable to me.

Go .500 and job is safe, win a few more and you could run for mayor, win a few less and no one cares. Time to think about basketball season! Mark Stoops was quick to stop the Texas A&M talk. He makes $9 million/year and can sleep comfortably under the above expectations. I assume he lives a very good life with that salary.

I wish him the best, but can't help but wonder if 4 years from now, IU will be writing another fat check and looking for the next coach that's going to be the savior that finally turns the IU program around.

The lady Hoosiers are having a tough go with it against Maine. It’s close now, but it could go either way.

They came on strong the last five minutes and took charge. Another good win. I’ll be at their next game on Sunday. Hopefully the men can add another win tomorrow night.
