Can a doe have triplets?
Went on a drive this evening and 1 doe was with 3 little ones, just wondering.

Yes. Triplets can be dropped by well feed healthy does usually after attaining the age of 2-1/2 years old.

My mom and dad had a doe hang out around their yard for a couple of summers. She (assuming it was the same one) brought three fawns with her.

Most likely all three are her's.
Does do pick up orphans every now and then.
I've seen does with 4 fawns before, but I hunt in an area that is depredated.
