I was reading a thread on here this morning and someone brought something up that made me think? What happens when someone comes into Indiana and buy's a buck tag for say gun season. Then he goes out and kills a doe and tags it. Not knowing he can't do that. Whenever I tag a deer other people are taging them and it seems they just ask the usual questions like buck? doe? time? lic #? Name ect.... Maybe I'm missing something but just thought I would ask. Where I hunt there are a lot of people coming to hunt from Ill and I know a few hunters from Mich. I know not knowing the rules is no excuse but if they tag a doe and leave what happens to them?
Thanks!
Hopefully you can understand what I am asking!!! lol

If they take a doe with a firearms license then they would probably be arrested for it. You are right, not knowing is not an excuse. If they leave and are not caught then nothing would be done to them.
