dear CO,
please see depredation permit section under "deer hunting" forum section.
is it possible to work with farmers to obtain a "dep" permit that would allow me to hunt outside the DNR established hunting seasons ?
please post whether this assumption is correct. If so any contact info i would need to get rolling.
PM me if needed.
thank you.

Camoham,
In order to get a depredation permit you must first speak with you district wildlife biologist. You can find out who that is by contacting the division of fish and wildlife at 317-232-4080. Tell them what county you are in and that you need the number for your dist. biololgist. He will have to come out and assess the damage and determine the number of permits. There are several guidelines that you will have to follow.
Reading your post I am not sure weather you are a hunter or a farmer with a depredation problem. If you are a hunter looking for extra deer to harvest you may follow the same procedure to find out if there are any hunter farmers that have these permits that need hunters.
