Which hunter would you just like to come out of nowhere and just flatten with a solid right? I left out the ones I thought we'd all like to clobber, like poachers and trespassers. These choices are harder..... we could even be some of them!
The 'third parties' are the guys always hanging out in shops ready to tell you why you don't want to buy/use this or that. The equipment purist is the guy that thinks your not a real man if you don't use certain weapons. the 'Nice little deer guy' is the guy that always loves to give left-handed compliments at the check station, intimating that you or whoever has a good deer but he wouldn't have shot it. The 'my way is the only way 'guy is the one that not only has strong opinions on hunting regs and methods, but he also feels the whole world should agree with him. 'gear snob guy' is fellow we all know that only shoots a certain brand of gun or bow and all the rest are junk. I should have left 'non-hunting nieghbor guy' off as he is not a hunter, I suppose, but he really gets on my nerves.
I voted number one!

How about the " I killed a 34 pointer last year that scores 250 inches" guy that never seems to have any pictures.

I had to go with the "nice little deer guy". It was closest thing on the list to a guy who REALLY ticked me off when my Son shot a small nubbin' buck during youth deer season years ago. He was just a kid and we were sitting in the woods when 3 deer came past - 2 big does and the small buck. He got excited and shot the small buck (which he thought was doe) when it stopped broadside in front of us at 20 yards. He was all excited until we got to the check station and some jerk started in with "I can't believe someone would shoot a deer that small", and "he should have let it walk", and "you should have stopped him before he pulled the trigger" (never had the chance as he shot too quickly and I thought he was shooting at the big doe), etc. I felt like decking the guy right there as he really deflated my Son's ego.

Well since you didn't mentioned getting bailed out I can only assume you have tremendous self control. What a jerk!

Yeah I agree, I don't know if I would have been able to keep myself composed if someone did that to my son. I would have let him know how I felt anyways. Back to topic......AYE.

I actually had a guy do it with his own son!! Was hunting the woods next to me opening day of gun and his boy shot a 9 pointer. All the dad could say was well I sure wouldnt have shot it. and other demeaning comments. He is a self proclaimed big buck hunter. he shot a 140ish deer SEVERAL years ago and now he's an expert. AYE (is it pirate day and no one told me?!)
