Looking to upgrade my Nocks, and don't want to spend Big $$$, was at Gander Mountain last night and liked these, Looked in the Gear Review section for some info, and was woundering what you all liked or use, These are at GM for $119. I have a cheap set of Simmions 10x25 and there ok, just wanted something alittle better. I spend alot of time glassing, the woods and fields, Helps keep me awake, and on point? What do you all think?

I also used the cheap Tasco & Simmons binoculars for years. I usually picked them up at Walmart for around $25. Problem was they always broke so I had to buy new ones every couple years. A couple years back I broke down and spent $300 for a quality pair of Burris Signature Select on Ebay - at least $125 cheaper than I could find anywhere else. They have a LIFETIME warranty and the image is night & day vs. the cheap glass. I know top end binoculars cost well over $1,000, but I refuse to pay that. If you find a pair you like, and can afford them, buy 'em. You'll probably save money in the long run. Once you've used a good pair of binoculars you'll wonder how you ever got by without them.

daworz, I cannot speak to the Bushnells as I have never owned them, but in the past I have owned several of the cheapies and they were just that. I don't buy into the $1,000 to $1,500 binos but I do believe you get what you pay for to a point. I purchased a pair of Leupold Wind Rivers 10X42 a few years ago and they really made me aware that their is a difference. FWIW, I was in the Sportsman Warehouse last week for the first time and was really impressed with their selection of glass, better I thought than GM.

I too refuse to pay a great deal for binos. Now if I were planning on hunting a place where I would be watching through them all day that would be a different story. My wife and I each have a pair of Bushnell Legacy's that do a real good job for the type hunting and birdwatching I do. They are waterproof and fogproof and gauranteed for life. Mine got some fog in them and you send them back with $10 and they will fix or replace them. I got a new pair. Best part is they were less than $40 each through Sportmans Guide a couple of years ago.

I to spent 25-50 bucks every few years for binos. I got tired of it and broke down and bought Nikon Monarchs. I wish I would of done it years ago. Plus life time replacement.
