On Monday morning, I watched a small doe head toward my stand with a small 8 point behind her with his nose to the ground and grunting every few seconds. As they got closer, I noticed some spikes around 2" long on what I thought was the doe. It even rubbed them on a tree limb 15 yards away. I thought the small 8 point must have been just practicing, but 10 minutes after they left, a little fork horn came up the same trail with his nose to the ground too. I know it is possible for a doe to have antlers, but I can't be sure it was even a doe. I never got a view of the "junk", it kept its tail tucked down. Maybe a couple of funny bucks swam the river from Kentucky. Anyway, it was cool to watch.
