Wow! Where I hunt, a buck that size would never return down a path where he had ducked an arrow days before. I'd say you're pretty lucky to see him there again.

I feel your pain! Nice buck, I have never had alot of luck with the Macanial heads, but after that i might think about going to a Fixed blade, But theres alot of guys that shoot them and swear by them. I have always been a Muzzy Man.

It wasn't the broadheads fault. I'm shooting the 3 blade Rage. For some reason my bow started over drawing??? Guessing due to string stretching and the arrows being cut so close to my rest. When I would draw, the blades were hitting my rest arm and they would pop open. Moved my rest back and I'm good to go now until next year. Then I will restring my bow.

Don't beat yourself up too much, I done the same thing with a muzzleloader from a range I'd be ashamed to name.

Wtlhaven...sounds like your bow is out of time. Might want to head to your local pro shop. Very nice buck though. Good luck next time!

I hear lots of good things about those Rage heads. I agree with a previous poster, you may want to have your bow looked at. A good pro shop will have you shooting the same in less than an hour after any repairs.
