I went out late tonight for just a little bit over an hour and it was crazy windy. I figured they wouldn't be moving at all but I ended up seeing around 10 eating in a field. I am not sure I ever have been hunting in more windy conditions. I ended up just sitting in chair on the ground due to the wind. I walked out a little early after after all those deer left the field and there were 3 in the landowners yard when I got back to my truck.

I hunted it and saw my first antlers (other than cam pics) of the year...... Had two little bucks hang out about 15 yards from my stand ... sparring and eating acorns... and then licking each other.... I think they might be fruity.... I would have shot one of them.... but they were only 1 1/2 (by my guess) so they have a lot of potential...

I was out in it.
I started questioning my sanity for being 30 foot up in a swaying tree.
I saw 4 - 1 doe, 2 fawns and a spike buck. The spike ran one of the fawns of. I'm guessing that fawn was a butoon buck.
These were all late. About 20 minutes before 'get down time'.

Mine showed up about 540 and left around 630..... got to get a good look at them.... the bigger of the two had the start of a drop tine already...... I hope he makes it a couple more years.... I really want to harvest a deer with a drop tine....and non typical..... those two are my goal before I die.

I went because of the direction of the wind. Didn't help, saw nothing. Got up to go this morning but decided not to fight a wrong wind. The feeding fields are to the east and with the wind out of the west I will just take a break and see what this evening looks like.

I was out last night. I'm surprised I didn't get motion sickness, and if I would have had a shot it would have been difficult with tree moving back and worth. I didn't see anything and I did get down early, but you never know when you might come across a monster.

I was out, went to my buddies property that sits in a bowl and didn't have to deal with the wind. Had 1 fork and 1 button buck under me for 45 minutes.
