How many have had their house shined upon by spotlighters looking for deer?

I never have. I have and currently live in the country where shining is popular. When I lived in town I had more lights being shined upon my house.

This poll really won't show much due to the fact that I'm sure there isn't much shining in Indy or other cities.

That's ok. I didn't expect much out of it. I had never tried the poll option and the other thread got me thinking about it so I threw this out there. It won't show much of anything just like most other polls on web sites.
My theory is that only a very small percentage of people are getting hit with artificial light and making a fuss over it. Most are getting their panties in a bind over spotlighting because they don't want to have some guy or kid shining their fields. OR they are so paranoid about losing hunting because it is so "unpopular" and they don't want to mess it up with the non-hunting but not anti crowd. In return they are willing to throw some under the bus thinking it might keep them around unitl the end. SAD!
We want to get youths involved and almost any cost by setting up special seasons and special license requirements but one of the best and most effective tools to get the kids excited about deer hunting and you all want to do away with it...
If you oppose it at least give the real reason and not some bogus pollitical correct response that makes it seem like you are protecting us from ourselves.
Some things just hit me funny and this topic is one of them....

Some testimony at the Advisory Council meeting didn't even mention homes being shined......the problem was that "deer were being shined" One of the fellas testifying felt that it amounted to nothing more than harassing the deer.
