Some time back I was a visitor at another hunting site where a discussion was being held regarding "deer decoys". One of the regulars there who seems to have a substantial amount of experience indicated that under certain circumstances during the rut a "White Feather" will bring the bucks running. He had three conditions that had to be met to use the feather...1) The buck had ignored all rattling...2) the buck ignored all attempts to be called...and 3) the buck had to be a hundred yards away or more. No one asked, and he never went on to describe how to actually "use" the feather. I assume that the feather is impersonating the movement of a deers tail, but it's only a guess. Anyone out there heard of this before and how do you use the feather to simulate a deers tail, or am I wrong on this? Thanks, BOBinIN

I had read that somewhere too.
In that article it was basically tying a good sized white feather on a tree limb about deer butt high. They used a piece of string long enough that it allowed the feather to move and twist in the breeze.
I don't remember the outcome.
This might be one of those "If all else fails" things..
