;DFinally got around to uploading the pictures from this weekends youth hunt. My wife took my daughter out Saturday and they didn't have any shot oppurtunities, I was working the Hoosier Outdoor Experience at Fort Harrison State Park. Sunday morning we took both my son and daughter out. After getting in the stand my daughter leaned up against my shoulder and decided it was time to take a nap. After a 45 minute nap it was time to play some "Where's Waldo" on her cell phone. After 2.5 hours in the stand her patience was wearing thin and we decided 15 more minutes and we would call it quits when this big o' yote decided to come in on the same trail we brought in. At 15 yards broadside I stopped him and she let him have it right thru the chest with her mom's Remington 20 gauge 1100. To say she had coyote fever would be putting it light, she was so shook up she asked if she could stay in the ladder stand while I recovered her yote, he ran about 30 yards and piled up. We didn't get a deer but it was still a successful weekend. Now I have a taxidermy bill, do any of you have any recommendations for a taxidermist? See her pics below: Before the hunt! Having fun in the stand! View from the stand! Peyton's and her yote! One proud dad! Dang he's heavy! Again, if anyone can help with a taxidermist, we'd appreciate it!

You made a great memory, love the big smile on her face - way to go both of you. (I'd get it mounted for her too were I in your place)

Congratulations. Any hunt that ends with a smile like that is a successful hunt.

Well done, and nice to see her shooting a 20 guage. I had my last nice yote done "feet on" by Hoosier Trapper Supply, they do a nice job.
