Long story on this deer.
It was hit at 30 yards but he only had a 20 yard pin........he guessed
As you can see by the pic, it was hit square in the shoulder. A deer that big has a big shoulder.
The broadhead only penetrated maybe a half inch beyond the shoulder blade.
It took over 5 hours to track the deer.......turns out that by pushing it the broadhead was cutting the lung with each step the deer took.....maybe if he didnt push the deer it could have survived.
Rich was VERY lucky to get this deer!
