I was hoping for a nice crisp still morning but it looks like it is going to be breezy. Now I am thinking about going waterfowl hunting.

Man this time of year it would take a torential down pour or gail force winds to keep me out of the woods. They are only forcasting 12mph winds around here for the morning. We went this morning and still saw deer.

I'm with you. I think first part of the morning should be good and deer will be up and about.

I'm with you. I think first part of the morning should be good and deer will be up and about. When I read this thread I was thinking great, and went on weather.com to see what they were calling for. 10-15mph - I can deal with that; I was expecting to see more like 35mph or so.

I know that's not that bad but as I get older I like to hunt in near perfect conditions.

Like the great bass fisherman Larry Nixon always said. Learn to fish with the elements and not against them. Maybe that holds true for hunting too... LOL
