Big Dog brand double stand $89.99! 17 feet to the seat with shooting rail that folds back for bowhunting. Not a bad price!
Height as stated on box. I just looked it up on their website and it says height to shooting rail. So just less than 15 feet to platform. I might order a ladder extension from BD.

You can get ladder extensions if you want to go higher up. Big Dog treestands is a supporter of WWW.Hunt-Indiana.com . Please support those that support us. bigdogtreestands.com/home.htm

I use a 20 foot ladder stick to hang a strap-on-step with a pulley and rope above the height of the stand, raise the top section, and then stick the ladder sections together and then into the top section. I don't raise the top section to its final height, but push it ahead up when I get the ladder attached. I then put large flat rocks from the creek under the legs so that it doesn't sink in. If the ladder is allowed to sink in, the top section that is strapped to the tree will stay put and come loose from the ladder. This is the easiest method I could come up with to put up the stand. Especially after my wife and I tried to put up our first double about 5 years ago and almost had the stand on top of us once!
