I found this set of antlers, along with the rest of the skeleton, while turkey hunting this fall. I thought the palmation was particularly interesting on this young deer. (On the deer’s left side I can see that two permanent teeth had not yet pushed out the temporary teeth above them.) I do not know the cause of the deer’s death. But, I sure would like to have seen it’s antlers if it had lived another 2 or 3 years. (This is my first attempt at posting a picture. Hope it works.) Attachments:

I have one of me grandfathers old racks that looks similar.

Scrub, that one beam looks like some kid flashin a gang sign LOL
My neighbor and good friend is a taxidermist, he's has some weird young racks in his shop that I've checked out.
Imagine what they might have become? That or they got that freaky rack by being sick?
