I haven't been real excited about deer hunting this year for various reasons, but I got me a new spot, and a new blind and just got it set up today. The wife of my buddy that owns this property told me this morning on facebook that she saw a buck right behind their house today. I'm going to let it settle down tonight, and HOPEFULLY hit it tomorrow morning. My new Ameristep Doghouse blind. Anyone use one of these? Pros/cons?A picture of my new property.

Got one a few years ago but still have not hunted out of it. Told my wife it was for when I could no longer climb a tree. Opened it up and aired it out a couple weeks ago and if I find a spot where a tree stand wont work I will be trying it.

The amount of movement you can get away with inside a ground blind will amaze you...
