I purchased a Gander Mountain Scentite Rubicon Ground Blind, and when I removed from the carrying case, darn thing exploded into shape. Cant for the life of me refold it. Can anyone help with this? Cant imagine lugging the blind through the woods in an open position.

I bought the same blind and no instructions came with it. I just sent an e-mail to them and they sent me instructions. I would send if I was at home to where I downloaded a PDF file with the instructions. Let me know if you have no luck with the company and I'll attach the file.

It took me 2 hours to get my Ameristep folded for the first time several years ago! The instructions stunk...... even after you get it the first time, it will take you a few times to get the hang of it so you can collapse it easily. Once you get the hang of it, it's a piece of cake....but that first time is tough if you've never done one!

Got mine out to air it out just in case I decided to use it. After a long struggle I got the intructions out and got it done. The part that was throwing me off is where you fold it into itself. Once you get that it is easy.

after you watch the video and do it a couple of times, it's easy. I can fold up in the dark in no time now.

Lefty, you do realize that you have to get of the blind before you try folding it up, right?

I have the same type of blind for Turkey Hunting, and it not worth the money. The instructions that came with it are very poor. Also when you set it up and it's windy it will rattle or even blow over, even if it's staked down. It is nearly impossible to fold up, as the problem your having. Just anothe "Gadget" to take Sportsmen's money. MADE IN CHINA!! Just like those "Tree Stand" Umbrellas.
