Wow nice.... I also Have heard that Parke county produced a 223 and change inch N.T. over the weekend. The buck green scored at 231 and change gross and 223 and change net "green". It will shrink a bit, but should find its home in the top ten all-time in its category.

Guys, I have a history with this deer, it was taken 1.5 miles away from where I got trail cam pictures of it over the Halloween weekend. It was shot opening morning of firearms by Heather, I know her husband personnally, went to high school together. This is Heathers first deer and first hunt ever. The deer field dressed 183lbs, the left G-2 is 17.5 inches long, green scores just a tad over 171 inches. I would say she is hooked for life.

That is what I told her husband, I said hope she understands what she has accomplished, there will be hunters that will hunt all there life and never get a crack at a buck like that let alone see one.

Guys, I have a history with this deer, it was taken 1.5 miles away from where I got trail cam pictures of it over the Halloween weekend. I can only imagine what it would be like to have a brute like that on my trailcams, think I would take a temporary leave of absence from work, home, etc. We have seen some really awesome bucks taken this year but so far I think that one is my favorite!! Hoosiernavy, did you post your trailcam pic and I just missed it? If not can you? If you prefer not to out of respect for Heather I totally understand though.

Here is the best one that shows the rack, the other he is just coming in to frame. I sent this trail cam picture to them a day or two after they killed the buck. Another awsome thing is they donated the meat of this buck to our FHFH Chapter.

They have the jaw bone at the taxi shop, and going to get it officially aged soon, I will let you all know but I did look at the jaw and its not an old buck, hardly any ware on its teeth. I would say 4 years of age.
