I passed on one nice eight pointer opening day and have seen three bucks since and those where two small 6's and a spike. Maybe I'll get lucky in muzzy season. h.h.

I've probably passed on 7 or 8 1-2 1/2 yr old bucks. I did jump up a good one the last night of gun going to a new spot and had a mishap with the muzzleloader the Fri eve of the last weekend. I'll be back out this weekend

I do. I've passed up a few small bucks, i have been after one particular buck that i seen during bow season. My brother seen him during gun but had no shot. I was in no hurry as i still had a lot of corn standing around where i hunt and it did not come down until the last 2-3 days. Should be a lot of bucks left running around for muzzy.

I filled mine on the 18th of November, I didnt pass on him that was actually the first buck I saw this yr. My wife still hasnt filled hers and neither has my father, so hopefully 2nd archery and m/l will pay off for them, Im still looking for some does to take to help fill the freezer also. The buck I got is the only deer me, my wife or my dad have gotten its been a tough yr for us.

i have mine still. me and my dad saw a ton of bucks during bow and my dad got a nice 8 urban buck in early october and his biggest buck on halloween, i wounded a nice little non typical and didnt get another shot at a buck but bhad many incounters and then as soon as gun came in i havent seen one buck but the corn just recently got harvested so im hopin and prayin muzzy is the ticket

Ya, I have yet to fill my buck tag. I didn't get one last year either. The difference is I was seeing more deer last year. Passed 5 different ones trying to get on a nice 12point and it never happened. I haven't seen any of them this year. I know they're around just moving at night. Corn is all picked now so i can't use that excuse. |

Passed on all deer seen to date...including a 9 point with a broken G3 that presented me a broadside shot at 60 yards..

Still have my tag as well. Haven't knocked down a buck since 2004. I'm very picky! Taken my fair share of does.
