Didn't see any deer at all today and was only out of the stand for about 45 minutes for lunch. Seems to be plenty of coyotes on the other hand!

I saw 10 yesterday evening - 8 does/fawns and two small bucks.
1 small buck this morning, late.
5 does/fawns this evening.
Just nothing I really wanted to shoot.

same here in white co. Did see 2 deer at noon, but they were spooked off some state pheasant ground. The moon is full, the deer had been shot at for 2 wks., and the second rut hasn't kicked in, yet. If the weather forecast is right, tues/wed. should be good, with snow/cold front coming thru. Gotta admit though, this has been the strangest deer hunting year I have had in at least 2 decades.

It takes them awhile to get adjusted to the cold. Have seen a few out in corn fields after sunset the last few nights.

I was about home from Madison Sat evening and had to stop and let a group of 10 does come by. Sunday morning in Jefferson had a group of 5 come by took the biggest doe reloaded and by that time 4 more were on me. The sun was right in my eyes and they were 40 yards and couldnt see them. That was doe number 5 along with one buck for me.

Gun shy & noctournal for a while as usual in my neck of the woods........ Yep.....I don't think it is the guns that bother them as much as the number of people in the woods. When that number of people ease down they will start showing themselves again.

Its more towards they are able to feeding heavy with the moon being up over head being over half and crystal clear out side, they are eating and getting back and staying tight to the cover most of the daylight hours, due to no need to be up and moving around, this weekend coming up will be alot more productive with more cloudy skies and alot less moon illumination.
