..................as for turkey calls, low subtle feeding purrs, and maybe a series of yelps every 20-30 minutes if that....Sparingly, most call way too much...I've hunted and taken turkey without ever making one call..couple decoys, on a field they like to feed on during certain times in the Spring will take a turkey more times than not..no calls even needed if you do your homework.. Ten Four.. the only time I get agressive with a turkey call is when Tom is hung up with a bunch of hens. I then do a lot of cutting and challenge the boss hen. Cutting works well in that situation. Knowing when to do what comes with years of experience, we know you're a seasoned veteran Woodman...I'd like to hang with you in the turkey woods sometime and learn a thing or two..
