The fat lady that is..........................
Folks.....I'm done!
I just can't get motivated to go back out.......
This has really been a tough year for me, I had my left hip replaced in April and have not really noticed any decrease in pain or discomfort. I also discovered in June that I have two herniated discs in my back and have quite a bit of arthritis in the spine.
I have had 4 spinal epidurals since June and they only seem to help for a few weeks. If it were not for my son, I doubt I would have hunted very much at all this year.
As it is we hunted every weekend from the last week of September till the last week of gun season.....except for the one weekend we were in Florida......I am just wore out!

I know the feeling Camby the older I get the less motivated I am. The walk to the stands just seems to get longer every year. On top of that, my Grandson trashed the engine in his car so I loaned him my truck. Limiting me to riding a scooter if I want to hunt during the week, to damn cold for that!!!! Oh well, Got to take care of them Grandson's.

Sorry to hear about all of your health problems Canby. Hopefully they will be resolved befor next year. The Fat Lady sang for me at the end of Firearms. Been playing with a kidney stone since then.
As far a B&C that is like Tiger Woods and his ordeal. Who cares.

I got back from 3 days in KY with the ML. I saw a doe with a young one - that's it! Had a shot on the doe and missed - sure looked like I had an open window to her. Bow season the numbers were good there - gun and ML season thin as I've ever seen it on those farms; it's been a tough year, hang in there.
