We don't know what Indiana's 2009 number is yet.....we still count our kill manually. We have the technology (computers) to know what the kill is anytime someone presses a button........but aparantly no one at our IDNR is smart enough to use the technology. Last year I thought Indiana was going to have an off year on deer harvest ,.... but we set a record with somewhere around 125000 deer killed.

Hate to say this but the ability to enter an address and retrieve information from a data base has nothing to do with the folks in charge of the DNR. It has to do with the folks that are in charge of the Data Center and getting programmers to make it possible to do so. While it might take no more than a patch to make this happen it could take a whole new program. Which requires time and testing. But it would be nice to be able to do so. And I would bet that the people in charge of the DNR would like to be able to do so also.

Does Kentucky still have the link where you can bring up the checked deer by county or by hunters name? I didn't see if posted anywhere this season.
