I tried messing with my son this year by making "fake" rubs around his stand. My goodness how do deer do it, i rubbed this tree to death with an antler, i got nowhere quick. I suppose you just have to have that trade! lol Made me laugh at myself tho!

Use the burr area just above the bases. Works like sandpaper; not much grit further up the antler where they are already smoothed. Not from personal experience or anything!

heck no he didn't, you couldn't even tell that i rubbed any of them!! All i got was short of breath, and a sore arm! lol
