eh... Interesting discussion...
NEEDED? no. Fun to talk about... sure.
But we've all been to the other side too. Where a deer, big old one or not, never has a clue you're anywhere close.
You're videos prove it Woody.

The waves they work off of are mental... The same ones that pack animals use to hunt... I just wear the tin-foil hat that I wear all the time, anyway... duh... It not only keeps the gubbermint's brain scanners out of my head, but also keeps my brain waves in, so the deer don't know I'm there... Mike

Gimic? Probably so. Will some buy into it and make the guy rich? Without a doubt.

They should package deal this with the "Tornado", so you could double your truck's gas mileage while you're stopping the deer from knowing you're there...

I think I'll just wrap myself in tinfoil before donning the camo.

Anytime something is advertised as "Scientifically Proven" it's a load of horse pooey. The only things that are "scientifically proven" are laws - like the Law of Gravity, Kepler's Laws of Planetary Motion, Laws of Thermodynamics, Law of Superposition, etc... I don't think this camo falls into the same category. However, what they are marketing has some merit - just not the way they are advertising. It's essentially based on thermodynamic principles that heat is radiated/absorbed with varying intensities based on color - it's why black shirts are hot on sunny days. Dark colors absorb more energy than light colors, and dark colors radiate more energy than light colors. Just like you can feel heat being absorbed, you can feel it being radiated (plus our heat energy) - it's just not something we are typically in tune with. The only problem is the scale they are using. While you might "feel" a presence from a few feet from this effect, you won't from several yards.

Oh this is 100% real I have no doubt. This quote from their website has me sold: "Have you ever wondered why the eye is drawn to movement, and it is easier to pick out movement from a living object than it is an inanimate one?" I asked Santa for 3 sets of their camo. Oh, and a couple of these also since i've been a good boy this year. www.hunterspec.com/Updateable/update_display.cfm?pageID=2372&categoryID=28
