We found this buck that Had been shot from the road by poachers. This is the second buck that we have found this year. We had seen this buck on several occasions and was letting him walk hopping he would make it one more year.

What a shame! How do you know it was shot from the road, and not legally? It sucks either way!

Road hunting has been a problem for the past 5 years. I had a truck this year while setting in my stand, stop and shoot at deer. I could see the truck. I have talked with a CO, and next year, there is going to be a little surprise for them...........

I was just reading this thread last night, then I find one this morning! On the way driving to a place in Clay County to coyote hunt we saw a deer leg in the road. After walking in crusty snow for a couple miles , and not calling anything in, we headed out. This time where the leg was we saw some crows fly up out of the ditch. I stopped and this buck was in the ditch. I'm guessing it was hit by a car, but it's hard to tell.
