I don't know what kind of shape their deer herds are in numbers wise but I sure see a ton of deer when driving thru Nebraska.

Oh no all the hunters will either be wounded or die from all the high powered rifle lead flying around!! ;D
Sorry, couldn't resist and since I don't have anything positive to add I'll go back to my corner!

Thats a big ol' 225 grain Nosler Accubond bullet. Havent had a chance to shoot it yet but should be able to get 2500 - 2600 fps. which should slam any deer. h.h.

Keep us posted H.H. What type of rifle do you have chambered for it?? I heard of a few who have rebarreled a Browning A-Bolt in .25 WSSM to this round.

The gun started out as Savage 16 7mm WSM Weather Warrior that I took the barrel off. Then put on an after-market McGowen barrel chambered in .358 BFG. It will hold 3 rounds. I'm waiting on a part that should be here tomorrow and then put the barrel on the gun. Testing will be next week. h.h.

HH, will you share a detailed report and pics on the rifle and its performance at the range? One of these days I hope to get into a wildcat like this one for Indiana whitey hunting.

GOOD CHOICE!
