I assume that all NRC members will get a hard copy of DNR’s proposed rule changes several days before the scheduled NRC meeting of May 18. Will members of the general public also get a “copy” (electronically through the DNR website and/or bulletin) at the same time so that they can have time to study proposed changes well before May 18?

Will members of the general public also get a “copy” (electronically through the DNR website and/or bulletin) at the same time so that they can have time to study proposed changes well before May 18? We will see it before the meeting. The May 18th NRC meeting notice.. www.in.gov/nrc/2350.htmThe Natural Resources Commission will next meet on May 18, 2010, at 10:00 a.m., EDT (9:00 a.m., CDT), at the Fort Harrison State Park Inn, 5830 North Post Road, the Roosevelt Room, Indianapolis, Indiana. The agenda for this meeting will be posted to this page when available.(Emphasis is mine) Here was the March meeting agenda. See how the agenda is laid out with “Download Related Materials”? The IDNR Deer Proposals will be listed there when the May 18th agenda is posted... www.in.gov/nrc/2354.htmWhen the Download Related Materials IDNR deer proposal will be posted at is anyone’s guess. We WILL know what the IDNR recommends before the meeting. We WONT know until after the meeting whether the NRC accepts, rejects or changes something.

How stupid are they ??

They sure did not reveal a lot did they?
Not a whole lot in concrete is there?
What's with "preliminary adoption in JULY?"
Will this all be in time for this year? I don't think so..

So they are thinking of adopting the Earn a buck, what a joke. Don't they know Wisconsin done away with that last year because it didn't work out so well? Gawd it's time to move, this is getting more ridiculous by the day.

Gawd it's time to move, this is getting more ridiculous by the day. Earn a Buck might work on a second buck... This is another one that the NRCAC came up with from way out in left field. I don't recall any of the "1,000 pieces of input" where anyone asked for an EAB. Same thing with the "crossbow license", "over 65 for crossbows" and "crossbows in the firearm season". All left field stuff....

No doubt about it and I will say that is part of what I will be speaking to him about as well as the inclusion of xbows all season and much more .Hopefully he is so inundated by now that he and the rest of the DNR will be ready to hear some real ideas from many hunters that I have spoken to .These groups of hunters are at this very minute emailing him with support of my proposal and throwing mud at a certain group or two asinine proposals.
