Anybody use these? I did last year, they patterned better than any other shells I tried. Now I find out this year that your not supposed to use a ported choke tubes because it makes the wad fall away quicker, so I'm looking forward to even better patterns by using a non-vented tube. I can't wait to check it out once I get my barrel back from being backbored/forcing cone lengthened. I'll let you know.

Yep, I normally used Federal #5's anyway and I purchased a box of the Flite Control in #5's last spring and they patterned a little better. Killed a tom opening day with them at 37 yards and he dropped like a rock.

I tried the Winchester Xtended Range Hi-Density turkey loads, and I won`t shoot anything else for turkeys now.

No, it's not Federal's knock-off of Hevi-shot. It's regular shot, but with a special wad that stays together longer or something like that lol.
