WHat load do you use in your gun? I use 300 grain hornady bullets with 100 grains of jims shockeys gold. What load do you use? I am wondering as i am almost finshed of with my container of JSG and hornady bullets and want to upgrade my load after this season for next year.

For my Knight:
90 grains of Pyrodex Select or two 50 grain Pyrodex pellets.
250 grain Barnes Expander bullet.
I have never recovered one of these bullets on any deer that I have shot, and they leave awesome holes!

Barnes Mz Expanders CCIM Primers 100gr BH209
Now that the season is over, i'm going to try the new bullets that Lehigh is making for Knight. Gordy of Knight rifles said there called the bloodline. I have talked to Gordy at Knight Rifles and Dave at Lehigh an they both said the performance an accuracy of these bullets are unbelievable. The bullets are a machined hollow point bullet like the barnes mz expanders but made with tighter tolerances. On impact of the bullet the pedals break away an cause massive damage. The price is compairable to the barrnes to. The bullets will be made in several different weights an will be released after the first of the year on the Knight web site. Dave at Lehigh told me they shot the 250gr bullet at 200 yards an was getting 2" groups using a Knight LRH an BH209. Sounds pretty exicitng to me.

95 grains of Triple 7 FFG, T/C Maxiball out of a .54 cal Cabela's Hawken-style. That's my Colorado elk load though, so I may modify that when I move to Indiana this summer.
