Not up to speed on controlling CWD (the biggest scary single worry concerning the deer herd to ME) but what other options are there but kill em off?

Realized WI has reports online of going overboard on it but just dont have any info other than those opinions.

IS THERE something to stop it?

Attempting to understand what can be done. It's obviously spreading.
