I have a CVA bobcat sidelock. The trigger mechanism broke. I had it out and lil' bro a sis snapped the metal that is used to snap the hammer. I called Deer Creek Products which has the old parts to the CVA sidleocks. The lines were busy the whole day. I dont wanna spend more than 20 bucks on this gun as i have seen the exact same gun for $50 bucks on sale. What should i do about the trigger?

It would be a part in the LOCK that broke I think. Did the hammer shear off or the mainspring break? Post a picture of the lock and I can help you get the correct term for it. eBay usually has a good variety of CVA stuff for sale.

Seems Deer Creek is the only game in town for CVA parts so I would keep trying to call their service dept. h.h.

Is that them doing the work or just the cost of the spring? Most of Silar and L&R replacement springs are less than $20 ready to go. Putting in a new spring is an easy fix.

Cost of spring and it would need a whole new trigger and everything... It complicated, but the gun is in bad condition anyways.
