Ok, it's decision time! What will you be hunting with come Saturday?
I've got the Handi 357 maxi dialed in, so it'll be going with me. It served me well last year. I hope for a repeat performance.

Marlin 1894 44mag unless I decide to head back to IL and in that scenario it would be the Hoyt.

Always a last minute decision Marlin 1894 or the XP100 are locked in a tight battle at the moment. May well take both.

Savage 10ML-II or a Ruger 77/44 I will more then likely take both with me since my pack has a scabbard built into it.

I believe I will send the Ruger 77/44 with my dad instead of the Encore 358. No shots will be over 100 yards for him and with the fact he has a healing collar bone that was broken 6 weeks ago the kick from the 44 might not bring tears to his eyes.

Still havent decided, i will either use my knight wolverine or mossberg 12 guage. Due to the area i hunt and the close vacinity to the neighbors land, i'm leaning toward the instant drop down power of the 12 guage. I love the muzzy, but the last few deer have ran a bit before going down, including the buck last year that made it across the creek and made the drag more difficult then it needed to be.

Savage ML I and Ruger Super Redhawk 454 Casull. Taken both to my stand. I can shoot 175 yards in that stand so any deer 100 yards or less and its the Ruger, 100 yards or more its the Savage.
The reason I wont take the .358 Savage is I sold it to schoolmaster's son Travis and I hope he kills a nice buck with it. h.h.
