Saw this doe in the ditch the other day we thought it had been hit and was injured. We turned around and much to our surpise saw this guy. He was less than 20 yards from us and could have cared less that we were there. He was all over that doe. We tried to scare her off so she wouldndt get hit but she would have none of it.

Man, I saw that same thing years ago in broad daylight! I was driving to my spot when I see this doe laying maybe five feet off the road by a fence, like she's bedded down. What the? I think. Then I see a nice, trophy buck standing about thirty yards back. I stopped the truck and goggled, then talked to the buck, taunting him, mimicking a pistol shot, etc. Before driving on. He would not leave. I understand that does will lay down like that right after breeding.
GREAT PIC!
