I shot a rather large doe opening evening and she still had milk as if she was still feeding her fawn. Has anyone ever seen that before?
I grew up hunting in southern Michigan and hunted North Carolina and South Carolina in the Marines and have never seen that before.
It seems to me that she shouldn't have milk still. How would she be getting ready to breed again if she is still feeding her fawn from spring?

Very common. Both the does I taken this year had milk. Seems like I see it more often than not.
