Whats the shaded in counties with a B in them? Those are called "Deer Reduction Counties" The "bonus deer" has all changed this year.. As I understand it..In some of the "deer reduction counties" you can kill 12 deer. Of which one may be a buck. Vanderburgh for instance is in the UDZ where you can kill 4 deer (1 buck) with UDZ permits, 4 bonus antlerless and 4 "deer reduction antlerless" ....all under special permits. Then that is not even including the regular archery (2 deer) and firearms ( 1 buck). It is spelled out even more so in EXAMPLE 2 in the Hunting and Trapping Guide book. It says.. “ EXAMPLE 2 You hunt primarily Clark county, which is listed as a deer reduction county. You can take up to eight antlerless deer using the bonus county antlerless licenses in Clark county. You may take an additional four antlerless deer is EACH of the other deer reduction counties.” That is a LOT of deer…

IMO they ought to give the non resident a buck and doe tag for the money. It would enable those hunting to harvest a buck and doe or 2 does.Help out alot,I seen herds of deer there on property that is off limits to hunters.Groups of 10-20does and yearlings .

I agree 110%.It is bad enough for residents to pay $24 to hunt a doe, but non-residents pay $120 for that second tag. the same price as the first. I like KY's system of buy a hunting license and the deer tags are the same price for residents and non-residents alike.
