If anyone passes on eating their venison cause they believe its not "organic" by whomsoever's standard... feel free to ship it to me!
Oh and if your worried about a ruminant eating corn, wheat and soybeans (that they choose to eat, not forced to eat in a feed lot)... just imagine what all that corn, wheat and soy you've been eating is doing to you...

IF you think about it they eat soybeans and things after they have been sprayed with Round up on other stuff. They drink water from streams that if a human drank it, it would make us very sick. So how healty are they??

The whole organic thing is dumb, animals can virtually be fed the exact same, just not given certain medicine and given organic feed instead, Venison is MUCH more healthier than organic meat. Natural grass fed meat is also much more healthier than organic. Organic is just a label to sell expensive meat and produce.

While I have to agree deer are not certified "organic", they are still the best meat out there. Choice between a steriod filled steer on a dirt/manure feedlot and grass-fed and I'd go grass fed anytime, it just tastes better. Antibiotics, yes keep infections away, but why are confined animals so prone to illness if they are so healthy? Generally nature takes care of ill animals, not kindly, but that's the price of freedom. Not to mention antibiotic abuse in any animal only can create more problems in the future.
I prefer the "free-range" deer meat. I think what makes deer meat better is the whole process, the scouting, the hunting, the kill, the processing, and then the enjoying. You have control of the whole process. And generally the deer are free (and happy if you attribute that emotion to deer) until the moment you kill them.

Yes, hunting is an "organic" process. From field to table.
For instance, my opening day turkey snuck up behind me at 7:45 am in Franklin County and was cooking in my crock pot in Indy by 11:00 am. For my money, it doesn't get much more "organic" than that!
