Why are the hunter safety courses so lengthy?
My son needs to attend one but all I can find locally is Four 2.5 hour sessions @ BassPro or two 7 hour sessions through the hospital.....As busy as families are today, that's tough to do.
Are you aware of any one day courses in the southern portion of the state?

Due to hunter education statndards established by the Internation Hunter Education Association, Hunter Education courses have to be a minimum of 10 hours. By abiding by these standards, Indiana's Hunter Education Course is recognized as an official certification any where an individual decides to hunt whether in the United States or another Country. I know that several classes are being scheduled throughout this time of year. More classes get added daily. You will need to continue to check the schedule at www.indianahuntereducation.com or www.passitonindiana.com. once you enter you zip code, you can search within 5 to 250 miles of that location. I hope this helps.
