Our group finished out our spring 2013 Lake Erie Walleye fishing trips with a wild ride. The day started out nice and clear and ended with a sudden storm which produced high winds, large waves and lots of rain that reminded me of a scene from DEADLY CATCH. We end up 2 short of our 36 fish limit of Walleye when the storm hit however we did keep about 15lbs of White Bass averaging approx. 1 pound a piece so that we can make a fish chowder. Our group will return in September and October for the fall Perch run. If you wish to enjoy a day or two of fishing on Lake Erie I would highly recommend Eagle Eye Charters out of Marble Head, Ohio our group has been fishing with him for more than a decade. He can provide you with first class lodging and fishing that is second to none. eagleeyecharters.com/fishphotos/index.asp?slide=2
