About 1/2 mile from home I hit a small bobcat on the way to work. Bum deal but no avoiding it.

Wow, I've never seen one before. Did you smack it pretty good?

That's a bummer, but I know what you mean about not avoiding it.
Had a fox jump right in front of me once and had no time to react. My brother cried the rest of the way to the house.

Look of the bright side, you saved a bunch of rabbits, quail and turkey.

I'd feel bad too; but you didn't mean too, and GS1 has a point.

One day, I ran over a litter of groundhog as I was topping a hill. I couldn't swerve, because I couldn't see traffic in the other lane yet. They were just groundhogs, but oh I hurt inside. I hate to hurt anything. I could see them squirming in my mirror.

Look of the bright side, you saved a bunch of rabbits, quail and turkey. That is what i told a co worker, just wish it was one ofthe ferel cats instead. Would have rather seen it while in my deer stand.

My wife was driving a nephew home on afternoon when a mama quail and her four chicks suddenly darted out of the grass and made a break for the opposite side. She tried very hard to slow down, but as I looked out the rear window I saw a puff of feathers and two chicks bolting for the side. Wifey cried like a baby.

lol! Found it funny several people stopped me at work to tell me about a dead bobcat that was found on my road. Word travels fast and in interesting circles sometimes
