I understand that some states deem it illegal to use a firearm (don't believe bow but not sure) for hunting purposes within so many feet of a property owner who did not grant permission to the hunter? Conversation came up the other day from a new hunter asking me, I stated I'd never heard any such law but will find out and get back to him. He's going to be bow hunting near a subdivision and one stand along an awesome funnel is only probably 30 yards from a dwelling on another parcel of land not owned by the property owner whose parcel he is hunting.

Indiana does not have adistance regulation like you are asking. You can hunt right up to the property line.
