What's everyone's estimations on what this buck would score? Just a little preseason practice on judging. This is a buck my dad harvested on the gun opener 2010 in the food plot in my previous post. I'll let everyone know what it scores in a day or so. Sorry, its the only field pic we had. Recovered him at like 11 pm. Back from taxidermist. He's the buck on the right.

Awesome buck, congrats to your Dad! Hoosier buck? I always enjoy the guess the score threads even though I am no good at it. I will say he is a 170 class buck gross. Thanks for posting.

I think that deer would gross in the low 170s and net mid 160s. I'll say 173 gross 164 net.

Huntmeister, yes it is an Indiana deer. By my best estimations I don't think this deer was older than 3.5 years old. He only went maybe 160lbs dressed and had the classic young deer look. Deer was shot at between 120-130 yards. We ran cameras all summer and fall and never had one picture of him. He came cruising through looking for does. I seen a deer that rivaled this one in size and could have possibly been bigger last year opening day of gun.
This deer was scored approximately 18 months after harvest. Grossed 169 7/8" and netted around 162". I don't have any of the exact measurements here at my house. Not bad for a 7.75 acre piece of property. You guys are good at the scoring. I initially told dad I thought high 150's.

Sure is a nice looker. I wouldn't have had a clue; it just looked monstrous to me.
