My son asked Santa for a bow this year and I was happy to get him one. We went to gander last night and had it setup in hopes we could get out and try it out today. The plan worked out well and the shooting was great. Ryne is 5 so listening can be a struggle at times, but today he was on his game. We went step by step and repeated each one several times over. The end result was great. He was so proud of himself and dad was really proud. Check out one of his first shots. www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_Lrr9z4nzUThanks for watching. Mike

That's awesome! Even better that you got him on video. Years from now he'll show that to his kids and grandkids!

Thanks guys. The entire process has been great and he has loved every second of it.
He tired out pretty quick yesterday, so I may put the poundage down a bit so he can enjoy it more. It is not like we are heading out deer hunting.
I have to say this Diamond Atomic is pretty slick. It goes from 6 to 29 pounds and I think he is around 17 right now. So it will grow with him.
He keeps saying that he wants a .22 next year. Slow down boy. Lol. He is growing up too fast.
