Let the cams go for 5 weeks before checking. I was glad to see some of the nicer bucks survived the season but what really stood out was this buck. Pic was taken on Friday, March 7.

Yep. I've heard some don't drop them till the new ones start to grow. I had one cross the road in from of me several years ago during the youth turkey hunt in Kentucky. Around the first week of April.

Saw two bucks still carrying on February 28th. They were with a group of about 20 other deer crossing a county road.

I heard a report from a hunter I'd trust more than myself that he saw a hard-antlered buck in turkey season.

I saw three bedded down in a field the day before yesterday. Two had one side and the other was still carrying both sides.
Look this morning since they were just 100 yards off the road and didn't see any laying around.
